The Venice Beach House was built in 1911 by Warren & Carla Wilson. As the owner of the Los Angeles Daily Journal, the Wilson's friends and family included the founder of Venice, Abbot Kinney (two of Kinney sons married two of Wilson's daughters!) and a close-knit group of Hollywood stars and personalities. The beach front home has been faithfully restored, inviting an ever growing circle of friends and family to share its casual elegance. Its distinctive craftsman style architecture and long list of celebrity connections have earned its listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
